Unlike a classic awning, it has a load-bearing structure that withstands wind and rain; unlike a bioclimatic pergola, its roof is a retractable waterproof fabric rather than rotating aluminium louvres. A pergotenda has a retractable textile roof, while a bioclimatic pergola has rotating aluminium louvres. The pergotenda is more affordable and excellent for shading, while a bioclimatic pergola offers greater weather resistance and year-round use of your terrace.
