For a terrace in Ljubljana we installed a Brustor B38 Wallance awning. The owners had barely used the terrace in the afternoon, as it was too exposed to the sun.
The awning is fitted to the dimensions of the terrace and matched to the facade, so it reads as part of the house rather than an add-on.

Solution
A Brustor B38 Wallance awning made to the terrace dimensions, in a colour matched to the facade. Motorised operation with weather sensors that retract the awning automatically in strong wind.
Result
Shade when they need it and an open terrace when they do not. The space is back in everyday use.
